How do I connect Trading 212?
Open Settings and paste a Trading 212 API key into the Trading 212 section. You generate the key inside the Trading 212 app under Settings → API. Once connected, holdings and dividends sync automatically in the background.
How do I import my transaction history (CSV)?
From the profile menu choose Import transactions, or visit /import-csv directly. Export your history from Trading 212 (History → Export) and upload the CSV. The importer builds your daily portfolio history, powers the Insights charts, and de-duplicates against previous imports.
Why don't prices move outside market hours?
Prices only update while the relevant exchange is in a live session (regular, pre-market, or after-hours). Outside those windows the app pauses polling to avoid showing stale ticks as if they were live. During US market hours you should see the value, Top positions, and Watchlist update roughly every 20 seconds without refreshing.
What do Red and Yellow severities mean?
Red means thesis-changing — something that could materially alter the reason you hold the stock (regulatory decisions, guidance cuts, leadership shocks). Yellow means notable near-term — worth reading today but unlikely to change the long-term picture. Minor mentions are archived by default so the main feed stays high-signal.
Does the app give financial advice?
No. Everything is descriptive: it shows facts, patterns, and events tied to your holdings. It never recommends buying, selling, or holding, and it doesn't rank stocks. Every decision is yours.
How do I change what notifications I get?
Click the notification bell in the top bar and open the gear icon inside the popover. From there you can set per-category thresholds — Congressional trades, Portfolio news, and Catalysts — to Off, Only red, Red + yellow, or Everything.
